In October of 2018, CEO & Principal Broker of Harman Realty, Inc., Randy Harman, announced the completion of a major renovation to the Quality Inn & Suites® of Harrisonburg.

Having purchased the hotel at auction just a year prior, Mr. Harman knew that a large renovation was on the horizon. In total, the revamp project would be completed in three stages over the course of 16 months including: a completely remodeled front desk, lobby, and food service area, new flooring, carpeting, and wall coverings, fully re-appointed suites with specialty wall murals showcased in upper-level rooms, as well as countless other upgrades throughout.

Once complete, Mr. Harman knew the foundation for success had been laid and was confident the new-look hotel would compete with any property in its market space. What he didn’t know, but would soon realize, was how much immediate success was coming its way.

“In just thirteen months our Quality Inn® climbed up the ladder of over 1500 other Quality Inn’s around the country into the TOP 100 PROPERTIES!” exclaims Harman. “We’re just so proud of our awesome dedicated team and staff for making this feat possible.”

It was this smash success of the newly renovated hotel and the resulting positive online feedback from customers that would ultimately lead to winning a prestigious Gold Award at the Choice Hotels® International Annual Convention held April 30 – May 2, 2019 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV.
