Harman Realty makes Hyatt Place a Harrisonburg reality

Harman Realty, Inc. has announced the newest addition to its hotel family, Hyatt Place®. Scheduled to break ground on August 2, 2019, development of this project has been in the works for over two years.

The new Hyatt Place® will sit on Evelyn Byrd Avenue across from the Quality Inn® and Sleep Inn®—both Harman Realty owned & operated properties and will feature panoramic views of both Massanutten peak and the surrounding Harrisonburg area. The most striking component of the new hotel, a spectacular rooftop bar open to the public, will feature full food and drink menus.

As part of the development project, Harman Realty is working to develop two other prime lots which will be located beside the new hotel as business complexes, retail space, or a combination of the two.

Randy Harman, CEO of Harman Realty, Inc., had this to say about the new Hyatt Place “It’s a very strategic and high priority project. It’s situated in one of the major commerce sectors of our community and will stand as a testament to our commitment to growth both in the near and long term. This Hyatt Place will set the new standard for hospitality in Harrisonburg.”

Hyatt Place® is tentatively scheduled to open in September of 2020 and will offer new features and services previously unavailable in the local marketplace. Among the many great features will be: a rooftop bar, fresh breakfast every day, 24-hour in-room dining, modern social and workspaces, free WIFI, 24/7 gym, indoor pool, pet-friendly accommodations, and a 24-hour business center.
