Emily joined Harman Realty in 2021 because she believes strongly that every family deserves a home and she was inspired by the visionary, creative leadership that Harman Realty has to offer. She is excited to offer services to local families in both English and Spanish in order to open opportunities for more communities. With her background in education, she loves taking the time to educate her clients on their options to make sure they find the perfect home for their needs. She is a creative problem-solver that will always do her best to find solutions for you!
In her spare time, Emily enjoys farming and built a small farm in the Broadway area so that she and her family can spend time outside and enjoy the fruits of agricultural work. She rides horses, enjoys weightlifting and training at her local gym, Latin dance, and teaching. She also enjoys the food, wine, and coffee the valley has to offer! Some of her favorites are Merge Coffee Company in Harrisonburg or Crucible Coffee in Staunton, Beyond Asian Fusion Restaurant, Magpie Diner, Sage Bird Cidery, Restless Moons Brewery, and Rockbridge Vineyards.
I started in real estate when I was 18. I was born in Harrisonburg, and I was raised in Kurdistan till I was 16. I’m also a mortgage broker with NEXA mortgage. I’m a part time JMU student studying for my finance degree. I love helping people who’s looking to buy their first home and their investment property. I’m very involved in the Kurdish community and would love to help them achieve the goal of buying their first home and build wealth.
